What makes a great one

Honestly? Your camera roll is already full of them. Aim for a few of these:

Daylight, near a window or outside
Face on, eyes open, looking at the camera
One full-body shot standing side-on
A close-up of the face for markings
Their normal expression — the one you'd recognise anywhere

Heavy filters or beauty modes
Dark rooms and flash-in-the-eyes
Screenshots of screenshots
Photos where they're tiny in the frame
Costumes or anything covering their face

Memorial order with only old, blurry photos? Send them anyway. We work with what exists and we've never turned one away.
