Who we are
Pet Blanket Book Co. ("we", "us") makes custom illustrated blankets and children's books from photographs supplied by customers. Orders are placed and paid for through our Etsy shop; Etsy's own policies also apply to your purchase.
Your photos, your rights
You keep ownership of the photos you send us. By submitting them you confirm you have the right to share them, and you grant us permission to use them for the sole purpose of creating your order. We do not sell, license or share your photos with anyone outside our production process.
We will only feature your finished artwork publicly if you tick the optional marketing box on the upload form, or tell us so in writing.
How your artwork is made
We use AI image tools as part of our illustration process, directed and corrected by a human before anything is printed. Illustrations are artistic interpretations, not photographic reproductions.
Proofs and approval
Every order receives a digital proof before printing. You may request revisions until you are happy with it; there is no revision limit. Production only begins once you approve the proof, and approval is final — we cannot recall an order after it is sent to print.
If we do not hear from you within 14 days of sending a proof, we may print the most recent version to avoid the order sitting unfulfilled.
Timelines
Proofs are typically delivered within 2 business days of receiving usable photos. Printing and shipping typically take 7–10 days after approval. These are estimates, not guarantees; carrier and printer delays are outside our control. If you have a hard deadline, tell us before ordering.
Returns and cancellations
Because every item is made to order and personalised, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. You may cancel for a full refund at any point before you approve your proof.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the proof you approved, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we will remake or refund it.
Memorial orders
We handle memorial pieces with care and will work with older or lower-quality photos. Please tell us in your notes so we can take extra time.
Acceptable use
We may decline any order — with a full refund — including requests involving photos you do not have rights to, images of people we have not been asked to include, or content we consider offensive.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
