Before you order
What kind of photos do you need?
3–8 regular phone photos. We want their face clearly lit, eyes open, plus one full-body shot so we get the markings and proportions right. No professional camera needed — the best submissions are usually random photos off a camera roll. Full guide on the upload page.
How long does it take?
Your digital proof arrives within 2 business days of us receiving photos. Once you approve it, printing and shipping takes 7–10 days. Need it faster? Message us before ordering — rush is usually possible.
What if it doesn't look like my pet?
Then it doesn't print. You see a digital proof first, and we revise it until you're happy — no extra charge, no revision limit. Nothing goes to the printer without your yes.
Can I have more than one pet on it?
Yes. Add $15 per additional pet and send photos of each one. They'll be illustrated together in the same scene.
Do you use AI?
Yes, and we're upfront about it. AI is the brush; a human is the artist. We direct the illustration, correct the details AI gets wrong — markings, ear shape, that one crooked tooth — and hand-check every file before it prints. That's why you get a proof.
Can you do a memorial piece?
We do these often and we treat them carefully. Send whatever photos you have, even old or low-quality ones, and tell us anything you'd like included — a favourite spot, a toy, their dates. Mention it in your notes and we'll take extra time with it.
How is the book personalised?
Your pet is the main character and your child's name appears throughout the story. You choose the adventure, and we add a dedication page inside the front cover with a message you write.
